The heart of Kärstna manor received its current appearance at the turn of the 19th century when the young lord of the manor Kurt von Anrep took over the manor. A lovely park surrounds the neoclassical main building The most famous person to ever own the manor is General Reinhold von Anrep whose successful military career is commemorated by a beautiful classical piece of art erected on the hill of the Kärstna chapel – a bronze lion. For a long time, the main building of the manor was occupied by a school; today, it is a home to a library and a kindergarten. You can take a look at the exterior of the manor and the beautiful park at any time. Entrance to the main building must be arranged ahead of time.
